Olena's husband served a special rail run that was fired upon by Russian invaders at the Chapline railway station. He was a conductor, and at the time of the explosion he was in one of those four carriages that instantly caught fire. As a result of that terrorist attack on August 24, 4 railway workers perished. Olena's husband was among them. Now the woman is raising two daughters 5 and 10 years old herself. The girls have a hard time coping with the death of their father. And Olena herself, who also works as a conductor, will never forgive the Russian enemy that she became a widow at the age of 35.
