Rashists shot their apartment in Bucha when they saw Olha's father in the window. The man was untransportable after a stroke, so he could not leave the then occupied city. The shelling started a fire in the apartment. All the furniture was burnt and melted, the ceiling was damaged by fire, the windows were broken by bullets. But not only this apartment suffered, but almost the whole high-rise building. Olha's parents lived in the neighboring building, and their home was also damaged.
To make minimal repairs, they need at least UAH 100 thousand for each apartment. It is good that Olha's husband, who also works at the railway, has a knack for repairs. So he repaired many things in the apartments himself. The couple has two sons – 8 and 13 years old. The boys miss their room, their bunk bed. But despite all the material losses, the family believes it is a miracle that after the shelling and occupation Olga's father survived. The man was saved from the fire by his neighbors, who themselves now live in apartments destroyed by the russian enemy.
