In civilian life, the two of them worked as passenger car attendants at the Odesa depot: they went on shifts together, welcomed passengers, and took care of the comfort in the train cars. But in 2024, they decided to trade their railway uniforms for the pixel camouflage of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and joined the Defense Forces together.

Now, our colleagues serve in the 159th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Their highly difficult mission is to safely evacuate wounded soldiers from the front line. To protect their evacuation vehicle from enemy drones, the crew urgently needed an Electronic Warfare (EW) system costing 300,000 UAH.

The Iron Family project immediately launched a targeted fundraiser on our platform, where, thanks to you, we managed to accumulate 33,100 UAH. However, time in war means saved lives, and the girls needed protection immediately. All the funds we have collected will be redirected to support other active fundraisers for our railway workers at the front.

This is where the true power of partnership came into play. Our reliable friend, the Guzema Foundation, promptly responded to the request and directly purchased and delivered this powerful EW system to the unit! The foundation raised the funds for it through our joint large-scale campaign: the sale of charity silver "Ticket Home" keychains and the raffle of an exclusive gold necklace by the Guzema Fine Jewelry brand.

Today, this system is already working at the front, protecting those who save others every day. By the way, this is only the first stage of our cooperation – three more such systems will be delivered to other railway workers on the front line soon.
