Olga Zolotova
Olga Mykolaivna Zolotova (born 19.12.1972, 52 years old) is a railway worker, a mother, a grandmother, and a person with a big heart. She has worked on the railway for 29 years, performing her job honestly and conscientiously, even when explosions thundered nearby.
While working on suburban train No. 967 (Tereshchenska - Novhorod-Siverskyi), the cashier from the Chernihiv Motor-Vagon Depot of the "Suburban Passenger Company" Branch sustained severe injuries from a targeted enemy drone strike on the Shostka station (Sumy region): fractures in both legs, damage to the hip joint, a concussion, burns, and scorched hair.
Today, Olga is back with her family—her daughter Svitlana and her grandchildren—recovering at home after surgery in the capital. According to her doctors, this recovery could take about a year, and another operation will be necessary afterward.
Her grandchildren dream of seeing their grandmother smile again. And as Olga says: "I have someone to get back on my feet for, and I am ready to work."
Help from each of us is a chance to bring Olga back to her beloved routes and to her children's hugs.
