In civilian life, Denys Bilous is a 6th-grade train car inspector and repairman at the "Kyiv-Passenger" Car Depot. But since June 2022, his workplace has been on the front lines. As the commander of an anti-aircraft artillery platoon in the 120th Territorial Defense Brigade, he and his brothers-in-arms have fought through Soledar, Horlivka, Bakhmut, and Lyman.

To support our defender, the Iron Family launched a targeted fundraiser. Recently, colleagues from the Social Policy Department and the "Passenger Company" branch met with Denys in person to hand over all the necessary equipment directly to him.

Thanks to our joint efforts and your donations, we provided Denys's platoon with critically important gear. They received:

• A Starlink satellite internet kit;

• A high-capacity portable charging station;

• An inverter generator;

• An autonomous diesel heater;

• Two electronic intelligence devices, which serve as reliable "ears" for detecting enemy signals.

Denys himself is an incredibly humble person. When asked about his combat awards, he immediately shifts the focus to his comrades: "There is no need to talk about awards. It’s not my personal achievement; it’s the result of our entire unit's work."

He doesn't like to talk about his own heroic deeds, but we speak of him with immense pride. Because behind this modesty lies iron endurance, saved lives, and the daily defense of our skies.
