The war took the most precious thing from these children – their father or mother. 965 railway workers died fulfilling their professional and civic duty.

Today, 504 children of our fallen colleagues are growing up without parental support.

This year, like all other children, they will look under their pillows and Christmas trees with hope and expectation. But for them, the holiday will be different, because the dearest person who always created the fairytale is not around.

That is why we, the big Iron Family, must be there for them.

We are launching a major holiday fundraiser to bring joy to children and create the atmosphere of a winter fairytale.

Let our special "Iron St. Nicholas" come to them on St. Nicholas Day and Christmas. Let children's eyes shine with joy, and let their hearts feel that they are not alone — that a huge family of railway workers stands behind them, remembering and caring.
