Stepan Pavlovskyi
The railway workers and residents of Lviv region bow their heads in deep sorrow. We have lost not just a colleague, but a person of exceptional kindness, sincerity, and dedication—Stepan Pavlovskyi.
Stepan was born in the village of Hodynia in the Mostyska district. His professional journey on the railway began in 2017. Working as a trackman, he always approached every detail of his complex and important work with responsibility. He was someone you could rely on in any situation. He was respected for his diligence and that special quiet confidence that comes from those who truly love their work.
Outside of work, Stepan was the life of the party and a reliable support for his family.
He loved to cook delicious meals, gathering friends around the table.
Above all, Stepan cherished quiet hunting. He knew every mushroom spot and had a special talent for it.
For his mother, he was the greatest comfort; for his nephews, a kind and wise friend.
On December 29, 2025, Stepan joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Those who saw him on the day of mobilization remember the sadness in his eyes… It was as if his heart sensed that the meeting with his mother would be the last on this earth. However, despite the inner pain, he went to fulfill his duty, remaining loyal to his country until the end.
“He went to protect the peaceful dawns of his mother, leaving us an example of humanity that does not fade even in the darkest times.”
We express our deepest condolences to Stepan’s mother, his relatives, friends, and loved ones. This is an irreparable loss for everyone who had the honor of knowing this bright person.
May the memory of the Hero shine bright! May the native land be soft for you.
