Vitaliy PEREVERZIEV

Vitaliy Viktorovych was born on April 2, 1987, in the village of Adjamka, Kirovohrad region. He completed his education at the local secondary school, growing into a reliable and determined individual. He consciously chose his professional path by enrolling in Vocational Technical School No. 12 in the city of Znamianka, where he trained as an assistant locomotive driver and a locksmith for electric locomotive repairs. Aspiring for further development in his profession, he successfully completed locomotive driver courses at the Odesa Technical School in 2012.

All of Vitaliy's work was closely tied to the production unit "Locomotive Depot Znamianka" of the "Locomotive Company" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." For 19 years, he tirelessly dedicated himself to the railway, working as an electric locomotive driver. Colleagues remember him as an experienced, disciplined, and responsible railway worker, a master of his craft who ensured the movement of trains and was a reliable support for the entire team.

On June 19, 2024, Vitaliy Viktorovych was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Changing his civilian locomotive cabin for a military uniform, he bravely stood up to defend the freedom and independence of our state.

On February 22, 2025, during combat missions in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region, near the settlement of Bochkove, the life of the soldier-railwayman was tragically cut short. He remained faithful to his military oath and the Ukrainian people until his last breath.

For his family, Vitaliy was the whole world, a part of their heart and life that will never be the same again. He is survived by his mother Lyubov Ilarionivna, father Viktor Arkadiyovych, daughters Anna and Vitalina, sister Inna, and brother Mykola.

The team at the "Locomotive Depot Znamianka" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" expresses its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of Vitaliy Pereverzev. We bow our heads in deep sorrow before the heroism of our colleague. The bright memory of the brave Driver and courageous Warrior will forever live in our hearts.
