Andriy CHERNITSOV

Andrii Volodymyrovych was born in the village of Trostianets, Balashov District, Saratov Oblast, Russia. He lived with his family in the village of Yarova, Kramatorsk District, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. Since 2017, he worked as a second-class station worker at the Sviatohirsk station, part of the "Lyman Station" structural unit of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." Throughout his time in railway transport, he demonstrated himself as an initiative and hardworking employee.

In July 2023, Andrii was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He valiantly defended Ukraine on the battlefield, but nearly a year later, he faced his final fight...

On July 1, 2024, Andrii was killed in the vicinity of the settlement of Vovche, Pokrovsk District, Donetsk Oblast.

Andrii Volodymyrovych is survived by his wife and son.
