Dmytro SIVKOV

Dmytro was born in the village of Andriivka, Balakliia district, Kharkiv region. After graduating from the Kharkiv Professional Railway Transport College, he decided to work on the railway as a mechanic for the repair of rolling stock at the "Osnova Locomotive Depot" of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He dedicated 9 years to the railway.

According to his colleagues, he was a very kind-hearted person, always ready to help. He was characterized by his calm and balanced demeanor. He consistently fulfilled the tasks assigned by his supervisor and had a good understanding of technological processes and the rules for repairing diesel engines and locomotives. He enjoyed mushroom picking and reading books, and was a well-rounded individual. After the war, he planned to return to the team for further work.

From the first days of the war, Dmytro took up the defense of the state, beginning his military duty on February 25, 2022.

Dmytro bravely lost his life on March 24, 2024, during battles in the Dnipropetrovsk region, participating in activities necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine.

Dmytro is survived by his wife and daughter.
