Mykola Senych
Mykola was born in the village of Barvinky in the Zhytomyr region. Almost from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, on April 13, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the airborne brigade of the Air Assault Forces, where he stood out among his comrades for his bravery and loyalty to the oath, serving with honor and demonstrating an indomitable spirit.
Before his military service, Mykola dedicated 7 years of his life to the railway. Since 2015, he worked as a platform controller (ticket inspector) at the Teteriv railway station. Colleagues remember him as a hardworking, responsible, brave, and loyal friend who was held in high regard. Mykola dreamed of traveling with his family and a bright future for his sons.
Soldier Mykola was killed on August 31, 2023, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a mortar shelling in Zaporizhzhia.
Mykola is survived by his wife and two sons.
