Oleg KRASATYUK
Oleg Oleksandrovych was born in the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Kharkiv Professional Railway Transport College in 2016.
He began his career in July 2019 as a repairman for rolling stock at the "Motor Car Depot Kharkiv" production unit of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He worked on the railway for nearly six years.
In March 2022, Oleg was called up for military service through mobilization to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After successfully completing training as a UAV operator, he was transferred to the "Corvus" unit of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar" in June 2025. Having taken an oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people, Oleg bravely fulfilled his duty. He was a true leader—courageous, responsible, bold, and active. During his service, Oleg was repeatedly recognized by military leadership and was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal in accordance with a decree from the President of Ukraine.
On July 3, 2025, during fierce battles near the city of Kostiantynivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, he heroically fell while defending the freedom and independence of his homeland.
Oleg dreamed of returning to his family, of raising his son in a peaceful Ukraine after victory, and of returning to his native enterprise to develop the railway and build a peaceful life for Ukraine through his work.
Oleg is survived by his wife and son. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
May Oleg's memory be eternal, as a brave warrior and a good person. In our memories, Oleg will remain a young railway worker, a kind and reliable friend who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
