Oleg LOBOYKO
Oleg Mykhailovych Loboyko was born in the village of Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region. He lived in the city of Lozova. In 1998, he graduated from the Kharkiv Railway Transport Technical School with a specialization in electrical supply, receiving the qualification of "Electrical Technician." He worked as a senior electromechanic in the repair and inspection section of the Lozova electrical supply division, dedicating over 26 years to this profession.
On August 31, 2023, Oleg was mobilized. He served in a military unit of the Eastern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was the commander of a tank grenade launcher in the 1st anti-tank section of the anti-tank platoon, fire support company of the 4th operational battalion.
On November 28, 2024, Oleg was seriously wounded due to a drone drop in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The 52-year-old junior sergeant Oleg Loboyko died from his injuries on December 19, 2024, at the I.I. Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
Oleg was remembered by his colleagues as a kind and compassionate person, a professional in his field. He was awarded the Presidential Award of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine."
Oleg is survived by his mother and daughter. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
