Sergiy SHAPOVALOV

Serhiy Viktorovych Shapovalov was born in the village of Vasylivka, Dobropillia district, Donetsk region.

In March 1996, he began working on the railway, dedicating 29 years of his life to this profession. He worked as a 6th grade locksmith for the repair of track machines and mechanisms in the repair shop of the "Donbas Center for Mechanization of Track Works."

Serhiy's life was tragically cut short as a result of enemy shelling of the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region by FPV drones from the Russian occupation forces, according to extract No. 1 from the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations dated May 16, 2025.

Colleagues remember him as a responsible and disciplined worker who diligently and efficiently completed his tasks on time. Outside of work, Serhiy was passionate about automotive and motorcycle technology.

He is survived by his wife and daughter. We express our deepest condolences to his loved ones.
