Sergiy VITCHENKO

Serhiy was born on October 9, 1970, in the town of Paniutyn, Lozova District, Kharkiv Oblast, where he lived his entire life. In 2007, he graduated from the Kharkiv Correspondence Machine Engineering College and obtained the qualification of technologist. He began working at the factory in 2009 as a milling machine operator and, from 2012, worked as a lathe operator of the 4th category, where he served for 16 years.

On March 2, 2023, Serhiy was called up for military service.

Serhiy heroically lost his life on October 29, 2025, in the settlement of Novyi Buh, Bashtanka District, Mykolaiv Oblast, while defending our country.

His colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person. He had a strong and decisive character, which earned him authority and respect among his peers.

Serhiy is survived by his wife and children.

The team of the production unit "Paniutyn Wagon Repair Plant" deeply mourns the irreparable loss and expresses sincere condolences to Serhiy's wife, children, and family. We will always remember his sincerity, strong character, and dedication to his work and country.
