Injured Railway Worker from Shostka Continues Treatment in Kyiv Hospital
On October 5, Olha Zolotova, a commuter train cashier at the Chernihiv Motor Wagon Depot (Suburban Passenger Company), was injured during enemy shelling of the railway station in Shostka. She is a dedicated railway worker with 29 years of experience.

Once her condition stabilized, we transported Olha to Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 1, where doctors conducted examinations and scheduled surgery. Following the procedure, she continues her treatment, and her condition is currently stable. Her daughter is by her side, and the company is providing all necessary support — both moral and financial.

Olha has already received a payment of 30,000 UAH as a victim of the shelling. Compensation for medical expenses is also being processed.
Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, CEO of Ukrzaliznytsia, stated:
"Our doctors are taking care of Olha, and we will do everything to ensure her speedy recovery. Her family and the entire railway family are with her — we always support our own."
