The Iron Family Stands by Amiran Abashydze on His Road to Recovery
After the shelling in Kharkiv, which injured employees of the "Small Southern Railway," we rallied together to help our colleagues. Among the wounded was Amiran Abashydze, a man who has mentored and trained hundreds of young railway workers.
The railway family did not leave their colleague to face this alone. The "Iron Family" Charitable Fund provided Amiran with assistance in the amount of 300,000 UAH, while the "Passenger Company" Branch is covering his medical expenses. Additionally, railway workers repeatedly donated blood whenever donors were needed.
Currently, Amiran is recovering at home and undergoing outpatient treatment. His condition is stable, and his progress is positive. However, an important and difficult stage of treatment lies ahead: once his wounds heal, he is scheduled for bone implantation and joint replacement surgery.
We remain by his side to provide continued support and assistance. Railway workers are one big family where no one is left behind in times of trouble.
Together on the same track
Even a small action matters for a big cause.
