Andrii Riabchenko
On October 12, 2026, during an enemy shelling of the Fastiv-1 motorcar depot, the life of Andriy Ivanovych Ryabchenko, a winding technician of electrical machines of the 5th category, was tragically cut short while performing his duties. The railway family of Kyiv region lost a highly skilled specialist, and his native village lost a bright, kind, and decent person.
Andriy Ivanovych was born on February 9, 1971, in the village of Velyka Ofirna, Fastiv district, Kyiv region. He began his career in the railway industry on August 2, 2016. For over 10 years, Andriy dedicated himself to the repair of auxiliary electrical machines for electric trains at the "Fastiv-1 Motorcar Depot," a structural unit of the "Suburban Passenger Company" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," earning a high 5th professional category and the recognition of his colleagues as a true master of his craft.
In the depot team, he was valued for his exceptional diligence, work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Andriy had a calm, balanced character and strived to live and work honestly and with integrity. Above all, he loved life, his native Ukraine, and cherished his sister, who was his closest person.
The enemy strike interrupted the life of the master directly at his workplace, where he was ensuring the reliability of suburban transport for thousands of Ukrainians.
On October 14, 2026, his fellow villagers, comrades, and railway colleagues bid farewell to Andriy Ivanovych on his final journey in his native village of Velyka Ofirna.
The fallen railway worker is survived by his sister Natalia.
