Vitaliy Strukov

On September 20, 2026, due to severe injuries sustained during an enemy drone strike by an FPV kamikaze drone on the yard of his home in the village of Sytne, in the Sumin district, our colleague, Vitaliy Volodymyrovych, an employee of the production unit "Kyiv Railway Distance" of the regional branch "South-Western Railway," passed away.

Vitaliy was born on September 16, 1972, in the village of Sytne in the Sumy region. After completing secondary school, he began his working career, and since 2007, he dedicated himself to railway work, serving as a track layer of the 3rd category.

Over the years, he established himself as a highly qualified specialist, a responsible and diligent worker, demanding of himself and the results of his work. His colleagues valued his professionalism, reliability, and dedication to his job.

However, most will remember Vitaliy as a kind, sincere, and compassionate person. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer kind words, and provide wise advice. He was respected in the team for his hard work, humanity, kindness, and openness. His life optimism, integrity, and genuine attitude towards people will forever remain in the memory of all who had the honor of knowing him and working alongside him.

The light of Vitaliy's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. He is survived by his wife and sons, for whom this loss has become an irreparable grief.
