Vitaliy NATALCHENKO

With deep sorrow, we announce the tragic death of our colleague Vitaliy Mykolayovych, who was killed on September 23, 2026, at the Darnytsia station during a Russian attack in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.

Vitaliy was born in the city of Krasnyi Lyman, Donetsk region. He began his railway career on February 18, 1995, at the Krasnyi Lyman station of the Donetsk Railway. Over more than three decades of diligent work, he progressed from a train dispatcher and centralization post operator to a station duty officer, shunting dispatcher, and train dispatcher.

Since October 26, 2022, and until the last day of his life, Vitaliy worked as a station duty officer at the Darnytsia station in the Kyiv region of the production unit of the station operation service of the regional branch of the "South-Western Railway." He devotedly fulfilled his duties, ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of the station, remaining true to his chosen profession even in the most challenging times.

To his colleagues, Vitaliy was an example of professionalism, responsibility, and humanity. He is remembered as a kind, sincere, hardworking, and courageous person who was always ready to help and support others with words and deeds. He earned the deserved respect of his colleagues, and his experience, wisdom, and kindness garnered genuine admiration from all who had the honor of working alongside him.

The greatest treasure for Vitaliy was his family. To his loved ones, he was a loving husband, a caring father of two children, a reliable support, and a protector. He cherished family warmth, the time spent together, and always cared for the well-being of his loved ones. His dreams included a peaceful Ukraine, a happy future for his children, and new travels with his family.

Unfortunately, his life was cut short too soon. With him, we lost not only a highly qualified railway worker but also a wonderful person with a big heart, who left behind a bright memory, good deeds, and sincere human relationships.

The bright image of Vitaliy will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues. His humanity, integrity, kindness, and dedication to his profession will live on in the memories of all who knew him.

We express our sincere and deep condolences to his wife, children, and all relatives and friends in connection with this irreparable loss.
