Maksym DIACHENKO
On October 1, 2026, the life of 21-year-old railway worker Maksym Andriyovych Dyachenko came to an end in a hospital. After sustaining severe injuries during a treacherous enemy attack on Kyiv on September 25, he bravely fought for his life for several days, but the doctors were powerless against the severity of his injuries.
Maksym was born on November 29, 2004, in the village of Nova Basan in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region. In January 2025, he joined the large railway family, starting work as a driver of the fire train's pumping units at the Kyiv-Tovarny station of the "Kyiv Detachment of Militarized Guard" branch of the "Corporate Security Service" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia."
In just one year and eight months in his position, Maksym established himself as an exceptionally diligent, composed, and responsible specialist, whose unit was always ready to respond to emergencies and protect the railway infrastructure.
In civilian life, Maksym was a bright, kind, and cheerful person. He loved to travel endlessly, cherished every moment spent with his family, and always gladly helped his stepfather Serhiy take care of the family garden. A great life path full of dreams, big plans, and happy moments awaited him, which was cruelly interrupted by the war...
The fallen railway worker is survived by his parents and sister.
The team of the Kyiv Detachment of Militarized Guard of the "Corporate Security Service" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" shares the indescribable pain of this tragedy and expresses deep, sincere condolences to Maksym Dyachenko's parents, sister, relatives, and friends. The bright, kind, and pure memory of Maksym will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Eternal and bright memory!
