Maksym KOLISNYK
Maksym was born and lived in the Lozivskyi district of Kharkiv region. He had a higher education. For more than 5 years, he worked on the railway as an electromechanic in the signaling, centralization, and blocking section of the Lozivskyi signaling and communication distance.
His colleagues respected and valued him as an experienced, knowledgeable, and responsible worker, as well as a good friend. He is remembered as responsible, honest, open, cheerful, compassionate, and hardworking. He loved animals, traveling, and deeply cherished his family, wanting to raise his son.
Maksym was called up for military service on October 3, 2022, with the rank of lieutenant. He served as the commander of the 1st assault platoon of the 3rd assault company.
36-year-old Lieutenant Maksym Vasylovych Kolisnyk was killed in the area of the settlement of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region during a combat engagement of the assault company. As a result of an artillery shell explosion, he sustained shrapnel wounds that were incompatible with life. His body could not be evacuated due to intense enemy fire.
Maksym is survived by his wife and son.
The team of the Lozivskyi signaling and communication distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the memory of their colleague with indescribable sorrow and bitterness. His courage, officer's honor, and unfulfilled dream of raising his son are the price our railway family has paid for freedom. Glory and eternal memory to the Warrior who gave his life for Ukraine!
