Mykhailo Zorivchak
Mykhailo was born in the village of Liubashivka in Odesa region. He graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport and dedicated his entire working life to the railway, starting as a station attendant. In recent years, he worked as a safety inspector in the Odesa unit of the Department of Traffic Safety of Ukrzaliznytsia, being a qualified specialist.
On February 26, 2022, Mykhailo voluntarily went to serve, becoming a shooter-assistant to a grenade launcher. He was also a participant in the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, always emphasizing that Russia is the enemy.
58-year-old Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Zorivchak was killed with a weapon in hand on February 18, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. He was repelling a tank attack from the enemy and fought until his last breath, targeting enemy stormtroopers. The Hero's body remained at the positions near the machine gun.
His wife, Tetiana, emphasized: “He loved and was proud of his country and gave the most precious thing for it - his life.”
