Vadym Minalyuk

Vadym Ivanovych was born in the city of Verkhnodniprovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 1992, he graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and had been passionate about basketball since childhood.

He worked on the railway for 6 years, starting in November 2016. He was a marksman of the 4th category in the Verkhnodniprovsk team of the paramilitary security service in the Kryvyi Rih detachment. Colleagues remember him as a responsible and disciplined worker.

On July 13, 2022, Vadym was called up for general mobilization. In the military, he was an example of bravery and selflessness for his comrades.

53-year-old Vadym Ivanovych Minalyuk died while on duty on October 26, 2022, in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, during combat missions to ensure national security and repel armed aggression.

His wife, Olena, remembers him as a truly brave man who was a reliable support for the family. Vadym Ivanovych is survived by his wife and children.
