Vladyslav SYNCHUK
Vladyslav was born and raised in the city of Smila, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Znamianka Vocational School, where he obtained the specialty of assistant locomotive driver. He worked as an assistant locomotive driver at the T. Shevchenko locomotive depot, and after his military service (honor guard unit in Kyiv), he returned to the depot and worked as an assistant driver of a diesel train at the motor car depot in Khrystynivka.
On January 26, 2021, Vladyslav enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract, serving as a senior driver of a rifle squad. Colleagues remember him as a talented, determined, strong young man who was not afraid of challenges and believed in victory.
Senior soldier Vladyslav Synchuk died from explosive injuries on the battlefield in the village of Vremivka, Donetsk region, on November 24, 2022. He was just three days short of his 25th birthday.
He is remembered as an active, cheerful, goal-oriented, kind, and reliable person who was always there to lend a helping hand. In his honor, a street in Smila was named after him.
The defender was laid to rest at the Alley of Glory in his hometown. His mother, Alla Mykolaivna, was waiting for him at home.
The team at the Khrystynivka Motor Car Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns and honors their young colleague with deep sorrow and pride. His selflessness, faith in Victory, and tragic young death represent the highest price paid by Smila. We will forever remember Vladyslav, whose name now graces a street in his hometown. Glory to the Hero!
