Anatoliy Kychuk
Anatoliy was born in the village of Kam'yanka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He dedicated twenty years of his life to the railway, working as a trackman in the Apostolivska track distance, where his brother also works.
The war for Ukraine began for Anatoliy back in 2014 when he volunteered for the 43rd Territorial Defense Battalion "Patriot." After being wounded near Debaltseve and undergoing rehabilitation, he returned to service, serving in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. In August 2021, he re-enlisted on a contract basis, becoming the commander of a reconnaissance group within an airborne assault brigade.
In August 2018, Anatoliy, along with his comrades, founded the public organization "Unbreakable," which supported ATO veterans and the families of the fallen. His mother, Lyubov Stepanivna, remembers him as a cheerful, smiling, positive man who selflessly helped his fellow villagers. He dreamed of peace returning to his homeland as soon as possible.
51-year-old Sergeant Anatoliy Kychuk was killed on June 28, 2022.
Posthumously, Anatoliy was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree, and he also received distinctions from the President of Ukraine for "Participation in ATO," "Service to the State," and municipal awards.
Anatoliy is survived by his parents and two adult daughters.
The team at the Apostolivska track distance of the regional branch "Pridniprovskaya Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague with deep respect. This experienced trackman and ATO veteran, who was a commander of a reconnaissance group, signed contracts twice and dedicated two decades to the railway. His selflessness, active civic stance, and courage, confirmed by high state awards, are a model of patriotism. Eternal memory and glory!
