Sergiy KYIANYTSIA

Serhiy was born in the village of Nosivka in the Chernihiv region. In 2011, he joined the railway family, becoming a train dispatcher at the Darnița railway station of the regional branch "South-Western Railway." He dedicated 14 years to working on the railway.

Colleagues remember him as kind, calm, intelligent, balanced, and hardworking. He was valued for his professionalism and humanity.

On August 28, 2020, Serhiy signed a contract and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he earned a reputation as a fearless warrior and a reliable comrade. He heroically defended his homeland, upholding its independence.

Serhiy was killed on April 13, 2025, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, succumbing to fatal injuries sustained during enemy assault actions in Donetsk region.

His wife remembers him as a person passionate about railways, hardworking, responsible, and dreamy. His life quote was: "Freedom is the ability to say 'yes' to your dreams." He dreamed of providing the world for his family and ensuring a decent future for his son.

He was awarded a certificate for exemplary performance of his service and military duties, as well as for impeccable and conscientious service.

We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Serhiy is survived by his wife and son.
