Andriy HRYN

Andriy was born in the city of Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi region. After graduating from Shepetivka Vocational Technical School No. 20 as a radio mechanic, he began working on the railway in February 2018. Recently, he worked as a track layer of the 3rd category in the Shepetivka track distance. At a young age, after the death of his father, Andriy became an example and support for his three younger brothers and sister.

On February 28, 2022, Andriy joined the ranks of defenders of his homeland. His comrades describe him as a person with a kind heart and an open soul.

29-year-old soldier Andriy Hryn died on January 25, 2023, in the area of the village of Zarichne in the Lyman district of Donetsk region.

He is survived by his wife Daryna, son Tymur, and daughter Vira. His mother, sister, and three brothers have decided to continue Andriy's legacy and defend their homeland. Unfortunately, his brother Yuriy also died in the war on November 11, 2024, and is buried next to Andriy.

The team of the Shepetivka track distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the memory of their colleague, Andriy Hryn, with deep sorrow and respect. His courage and open soul are an eternal example for us. Eternal memory and glory to the defender!
