Artem OLEKSIIENKO
Artem was born in the village of Popudnya, Monastyryshche District, Cherkasy Region. He graduated from "Znam'yanske Vocational Technical School No. 12." In July 2008, he began working on the railway, to which he dedicated his entire subsequent working life. He worked as a 4th category locksmith for the repair of rolling stock in the Current Repair Workshop of locomotives (PR-3) at the "Locomotive Depot of Khrystynivka." His railway experience spanned 9 years.
Colleagues remember him as a responsible and disciplined worker who diligently and effectively performed his duties. However, the greatest value in his life was his family. He was a caring and loving father.
Artem Andriyovych served as the chief sergeant and commander of the engineering and sapper unit of the engineering and sapper platoon of the 82nd Separate Bukovynian Air Assault Brigade. He was called up for mobilization on October 10, 2023.
Artem was killed on January 1, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in the vicinity of the settlement of Bondarivka, Suzhansky District, Kursk Region, Russian Federation.
Awards: Order of "Courage" III class, Order of "Courage" II class (posthumously).
