Hennadiy Dobryanskyi
Hennadiy Vitaliyovych was born in the town of Oleksandrivka, Mykolaiv region. In the 1990s, he served in the Black Sea Fleet, leaving with the rank of senior sailor. In 2006, he began working on the railway as a trackman of the 4th category at the Voznesensk railway distance.
With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Hennadiy immediately joined the volunteer territorial defense formation, and on January 14, 2023, he was mobilized into the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the platoon sergeant in the 37th Separate Marine Brigade. His motto was "Always Loyal."
The 49-year-old marine, Chief Sergeant Hennadiy Dobryanskyi, was killed on June 5, 2023, during assault operations near the village of Urozhayne in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region.
His wife Lyubov recalls that he was the only son in his family, a kind, caring husband and father who loved to joke, stood up for justice, and dreamed of peace and grandchildren.
Hennadiy Dobryanskyi's eternal memory is engraved on the Memorial Complex "Alley of Memory of the Heroes of the Oleksandrivka Community."
The fallen soldier is survived by his wife and two children.
The team of the Voznesensk railway distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" respectfully honors the memory of Hennadiy Dobryanskyi. His courage, sincerity, and loyalty to the marine motto will forever serve as an example for the community. Glory to the Ukrainian soldier-railwayman!
