Ivan Andriyash

Ivan was born in the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. He graduated from the Melitopol Vocational Railway College, earning a profession as an electrical fitter. Since 2014, he worked on the railway, and from 2015, he served as an electrical fitter for the repair of overhead power lines in the Zaporizhia electricity supply division.

His wife Natalia recalls that Ivan loved his family very much and worked hard for them, dreaming of a happy life in their own house in Melitopol. During the occupation of Melitopol, he held on at the enterprise until the last moment, and then moved to Zaporizhia.

On April 26, 2023, Ivan took up arms to defend his homeland, serving in the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade. Unfortunately, he did not fight for long, as he was killed while carrying out his fourth mission.

34-year-old soldier Ivan Andriyash died on June 28, 2023, while performing a combat task near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

The defender was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage III degree. The order was presented to his eldest son.

Ivan is survived by his wife Natalia and sons Danilo (18 years old, a future locomotive driver) and Yevhen.
