Lyubomyr SHVAHRUK
Lyubomyr Leonidovych Shvahruk was born in the village of Mykhailivka in the Veselynivskyi district of Mykolaiv region, where he lived with his family. In 2007, he joined the railway family, becoming a track mechanic. Since 2019, he worked as an electrical installer of the contact network in the production unit "Odesa Distance of Electric Supply." He had 17 years of experience on the railway.
On September 16, 2022, Lyubomyr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He bravely defended his homeland and gave a worthy resistance to the occupiers. Even during short leaves, he found time to meet with his railway friends, asking about work and sharing frontline stories.
He died on January 31, 2025, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission in the settlement of Stepova in Kharkiv region.
Colleagues remember him as a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible worker with a great sense of humor. "Lyubomyr managed to complete his tasks and, when needed, come to the aid of his colleagues," says his supervisor, Serhiy Fedetsko. "He quickly earned respect not only among his peers but also from older, more experienced workers."
We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Lyubomyr is survived by a family raising two sons.
The team of the "Odesa Distance of Electric Supply" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
