Mykhailo Sheremet
Mykhailo was born on May 18, 1992, in the picturesque village of Nadiya in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He obtained a degree in mechanical engineering for agro-industrial production from Tavria State Agrotechnological University.
In October 2019, he joined the railway family, starting his work as a third-class shooter in the shooting team at the Zaporizhzhia-Live station of the militarized security unit. He dedicated six years of his life to serving Ukrainian Railways, working modestly, diligently, and with a deep sense of duty.
In March 2022, Mykhailo Oleksiyovych joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking on the responsibility of defending the state. For his comrades, he was a pillar, a man of honor, resilience, and true warrior spirit. He remained loyal to his oath until the end.
Mykhailo Oleksiyovych Sheremet, a shooter in the militarized security unit, was killed on December 2, 2025, while in a combat zone due to an FPV drone strike near the settlement of Sosnove in the Donetsk region. He was 33 years old.
Colleagues remember Mykhailo as a responsible, honest, punctual, calm, and yet enthusiastic worker with a big heart. His sense of humor, life wisdom, and reliability brought warmth to the team.
Mykhailo is survived by his wife and daughter.

Our colleague, who was a reliable person and a brave Warrior, heroically died defending the sovereignty of Ukraine. His resilience, honesty, and great sacrifice will remain a model of dignity.
