Mykola Fuhol
Mykola Oleksandrovych Fuhol was born on April 23, 1995, in the village of Mokriyi, Myrhorod district, Poltava region. He had vocational education, graduating from the Poltava Transport Vocational Lyceum in 2013.
He worked as a 5th-grade wagon inspector and repairman at the "Kremenchuk Wagon Depot," a production unit of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He dedicated nearly 9 years to the railway.
Friendly, calm, responsible, and attentive—this is how his friends and colleagues knew him. He enjoyed spending time with technology, loved fishing, dreamed of buying his own home, gaining custody of his son, and living a happy life. Mykola was a person who would always support and never refuse to help.
Since April 25, 2023, he served in the military under conscription during a special period. He served as a junior sergeant. Mykola was always devoted to his military oath and the Ukrainian people, bravely fulfilling his military duty. In 2024, he was awarded the Cross of the Airborne Forces.
On March 31, 2024, Mykola Fuhol was killed in battle for Ukraine, its freedom, and independence, near the settlement of Novoselivka Persha in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
Mykola is survived by his wife and son.
