Mykola YEHOROV
27-year-old Sergeant Mykola Yehorov was killed on September 5, 2023, during combat near the village of Tverdokhlibove in the Luhansk region.
Mykola was born and lived in the city of Verkhovtseve in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In May 2015, he joined the railway, working as a signalman, and from 2019 he served as a train assembler at the Verkhovtseve station. His brother Artem also works there.
Mykola was a jack of all trades: he could fix a car and cook borscht. His mother, Olena Oleksiivna, recalls that he was kind, caring, loving, and always held in high regard. In his childhood, he engaged in ballroom dancing, judo, and karate. His biggest dream was to build his own house.
On June 28, 2023, Mykola took up the defense of his homeland, serving as a sniper in an airborne assault unit. For his service, he was awarded the "Defender of Ukraine" medal.

Mykola is survived by his mother Olena Oleksiivna, wife Elina, and five-year-old son David, as well as his brothers.
