Oleksandr KAVERZIN
Oleksandr Kaverzin was born in the village of Petrivka in the Crimea region. He lived in the city of Koziatyn in Vinnytsia Oblast. He worked for 13 years at Ukrzaliznytsia, serving as a train electromechanic at the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station's wagon depot, part of the "Passenger Company." He loved music and wrote some musical pieces himself.
On June 28, 2022, Oleksandr volunteered to defend his homeland. He served in the 3rd Separate Communications Brigade.
40-year-old Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Kaverzin was killed on September 24, 2024. He was caught in an artillery shelling by the enemy near the settlement of Daryino in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
He was awarded the Minister of Defense of Ukraine's badge "Cross of the Armed Forces of Communication and Cybersecurity," a certificate "For High Professionalism in Performing Official Duties in Ensuring National Security and Defense Measures, and Countering and Deterring Armed Aggression by the Russian Federation," and the honorary badge "Golden Cross" from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife, daughter, and son.
