Oleksandr Semeryaha

Oleksandr was born in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. In August 2018, he began working on the railway as a repairman for rolling stock at the Baturynskyi operational car depot.

His mother, Olena Mykolayivna, recalls that Oleksandr was caring, reliable, a man of his word, and effectively became a father figure to his younger brother Nazar. He called his family from the front every day. His great dream was to learn how to dance the waltz.

On March 11, 2023, Oleksandr took up arms to defend his homeland, serving in the grenade launcher section of the fire support platoon. During his service, he met his beloved Halyna, to whom he proposed. They ordered wedding rings but did not have time to marry.

Soldier Oleksandr Semeryaha was killed on June 18, 2023, during combat in the village of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. He will forever remain 30 years old.

For his heroism, he was awarded the badge "For Merits to the City" of the III degree.

Oleksandr is survived by his mother and fiancée Halyna.
