Oleksandr Skrylnikov
Oleksandr was born in the city of Bakhmach in the Chernihiv region. After graduating from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, he worked at Ukrzaliznytsia.
From the first days of the full-scale war, Oleksandr became a volunteer in the territorial defense unit of the Bakhmach community. On April 20, 2022, he joined the military service, holding an officer rank. He was a brave warrior and patriot.
33-year-old Oleksandr Skrylnikov was killed on October 31, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region.
For his courage and bravery, he was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the third degree.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife and two children.
The railway family honors their colleague with deep respect. Our graduate of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport and employee of Ukrzaliznytsia became a territorial defense volunteer from the very beginning and later an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His high distinction—the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi—is a symbol of the highest military valor. Oleksandr's heroic deed will live on forever!
