10.11.1968 – 21.05.2025

Electromechanic of the II group section of the Nizhyn signaling and communication unit of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways."

Pavlo was born and spent his childhood and youth in the city of Nizhyn, Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Nizhyn Technical School of Mechanization. He started a family and raised three children with his wife.

Pavlo joined the railway at a mature age, shortly before the full-scale invasion of the aggressor, bringing significant life and professional experience. Since October 5, 2021, he worked at the Nizhyn signaling and communication unit as an electrician for the repair and maintenance of communication devices of the 5th category, and soon was promoted to the position of electromechanic of the II group section. Colleagues remembered Pavlo as a bright, kind, and sincere person with a big heart, whose energy united the team.

As soon as the enemy stepped onto the land of Chernihiv region, Pavlo Mykolaiovych immediately took up the defense of his homeland. On February 28, 2022, he was mobilized as a volunteer.

The years dedicated to the struggle for the Motherland were difficult. Pavlo's comrades (call sign "Murakha") remember him as a reliable friend, a brave, courageous, and strong-spirited warrior. Pavlo Murashko was killed during fierce battles in Luhansk region, near the Serebryansky forestry.

For his personal courage and bravery in defending the territorial integrity of Ukraine, he was awarded the Golden Cross by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Pavlo Mykolaiovych Murashko on this irreparable loss. The deceased colleague is survived by his mother, wife, three children, and two grandchildren.

The team of the Nizhyn signaling and communication unit bows its heads in mourning for the fallen warrior who gave his life for our future.

Eternal memory and honor to the fallen Hero.
