Roman VARAVA
Roman was born and lived in the city of Synelnykove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from railway vocational school No. 58. In July 2012, he began working on the railway as an assistant driver of an electric locomotive at the Synelnykove locomotive depot. He loved his job very much.
Roman was known as "Varavchyk" among friends and acquaintances, the life of the party, cheerful, optimistic, and fair.
On March 18, 2022, Roman joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving as a shooter. He was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree.
30-year-old Roman Varava was killed on February 17, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. He will forever remain 30 years old.
Roman is survived by his wife Inna, their 6-year-old son Danilo, his parents, and his brother.
The team at the Synelnykove locomotive depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the heroic death of Roman Varava. His courage and great sacrifice will forever be etched in history. Glory to the warrior!
