Serhiy Baranovskyi
Serhiy was born in the town of Ovruch in the Zhytomyr region. He worked as a fifth-grade electric gas welder at the Ovruch III group wagon maintenance point.
On April 8, 2021, Sergiy enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract and served in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He joined the service with a single goal: for himself and other children to live in a peaceful country under a peaceful sky.
Serhiy was a father of six. His colleagues remembered him as a hardworking, compassionate, and kind man who always helped his coworkers.
42-year-old Serhiy Baranovskyi was killed on August 19, 2022, near the village of Mazanivka in the Sloviansk district of Donetsk region.
The team at JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the loss of their colleague. His boundless love for his children and willingness to give his life for their peaceful future is the highest example of parental sacrifice. Eternal memory to the Defender!
