Serhiy Zakharchenko

Serhiy was born in the village of Novokaterinivka in Mykolaiv region. Losing his parents at an early age, he was raised by his older brother's family. In 2018, Serhii joined the railway, working as a trackman in the Mykolaiv track division. He dedicated 5 years of his life to the company.

Colleagues remember Serhiy as a responsible and disciplined worker who diligently and effectively performed his duties, earning respect within the team. He dreamed of a happy and peaceful life in his native village.

In June 2023, Serhiy was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving as a shooter, delivering devastating blows to the occupiers.

Soldier Serhiy was killed on August 27, 2023, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Serhiy is survived by his brother and his family.
