Stanislav PORTYANKO
Stanislav dedicated 16 years of his life to the railway. Since September 2007, he worked as a 4th class shooter in the Znamianka unit of the militarized guard at the Shevchenko station. He was educated as a physical education and sports instructor.
He had combat experience, having served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the partial mobilization in 2015, where he was already an example of bravery and dedication. On the second day of the full-scale invasion, February 25, 2022, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Senior soldier Stanislav Portyanko, commander of the staff vehicle platoon of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade, was killed on October 1, 2023, in the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region, while performing a combat mission, sustaining injuries incompatible with life.
Stanislav was a loving, caring, sincere, open-hearted, and compassionate man, father, brother, and son. He was respected in his team and known for his courage.
Stanislav is survived by his mother, wife, son, and brother.
The team of the Znamianka unit of the militarized guard of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in profound sorrow before the heroism of Stanislav Portyanko. His bravery, dedication, and great heart will forever serve as a guiding light. Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!
