Vitaliy BABICH

Vitaliy Pavlovych Babich was born on August 28, 1988, in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in Kryvyi Rih.

In 2011, he graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, obtaining a higher education degree in "Lifting, Transport, Construction, Road, and Melioration Machines and Equipment" and earned the qualification of mechanical engineer.

Since August 5, 2011, he worked at the Kryvyi Rih Track Machine Station of the "Center for Track Construction and Repair" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" as a master of the mechanical section.

Babich V.P. was mobilized on February 21, 2023. After training at the training ground, he was deployed to the Kharkiv region.

On June 14, 2024, Junior Sergeant Vitaliy Pavlovych Babich was killed while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Stepova Novoselivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region.

Vitaliy was respected and loved as a person and a highly qualified professional. He loved life, always joked, and encouraged others. Since his student years, he played football and participated in competitions. He always cared for his parents and wife. He was a kind, friendly man with high moral principles and honor.

His wife, Oksana Volodymyrivna Kondratiuk, works as a leading accountant at the "Center for Track Construction and Repair" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." His mother, Larysa Anatoliivna Babich, and father, Pavlo Anatoliyovych Babich, live in Kryvyi Rih.

The team at the Kryvyi Rih Track Machine Station deeply mourns the irreparable loss and expresses sincere condolences to the wife, parents, family, and loved ones of Junior Sergeant Vitaliy Pavlovych Babich. May the memory of the Hero be eternal!
