Vitaliy KIRPA
Vitaliy was born in the village of Pershotravneve, Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region. He received vocational education. He began working on the railway in August 2020 as an electric gas welder at the Baturynsk operational wagon depot. Since November 2024, he served as an electric gas welder at the wagon maintenance point of the Nikopol station in the Kryvyi Rih station service department.
He died on December 15, 2025, from a fatal shrapnel wound during an enemy shelling in the village of Kamianske in the Nikopol region, where he lived with his family.
Oлена Семьонова, the leading engineer of the Kryvyi Rih regional personnel management department, shared that Vitaliy was a very conscientious and well-mannered person, compassionate, responsible, and conflict-free. "He never complained, showed dissatisfaction, or refused assignments or help to others," she said. "He was remarkably cultured and decent."
Colleague and friend of the deceased railway worker, Oleksandr Kurdub, remembers Vitaliy as a bright and positive person: "He was devout, loved his family very much, never spoke ill of anyone, and never refused to help," Oleksandr recounted. "He was always calm, balanced, and always smiled. This is a great loss for us."
Vitaliy was also a wonderful son, husband, and father, raising two children together with his wife.
We express our sincere condolences to Vitaliy's family and loved ones. He is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.
