Vitaliy PRISYAZHNYI
Vitaliy was born in the village of Velyka Yablunivka in the Cherkasy region. He graduated from the Kremenchuk Railway Transport Technical School. He worked as a wagon master in the first group of the wagon maintenance point at the operational wagon depot in Znamianka.
In 2015 and 2016, Vitaliy directly participated in the ATO, serving as the commander of a wheeled armored personnel carrier unit. After the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the railway worker once again took up arms to defend his homeland as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vitaliy Prisyazhnyi was killed on June 10, 2022, near Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region. He turned 35 on June 8, 2022, celebrating his birthday with a weapon in hand as a true Defender of Ukraine.
Vitaliy is survived by his son Andriy.
The team at the operational wagon depot in Znamianka, part of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," honors the memory of their colleague. This wagon master, who defended the country twice and had experience as a commander of armored personnel carriers in the ATO, bravely fell near Sievierodonetsk. His unwavering loyalty to the defense of his homeland and sacrifice for the future of his son represent the highest civic virtue. Glory to the Hero!
