Vladyslav PYS'MENNYI
Vladislav Valeriyovych Pysmennyi, quite young yet already an experienced railway worker and brave soldier of the National Guard, died on April 4, 2026. His life was cut short while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Monachynivka in the Kharkiv region. He was only 23 years old — an age when most are just beginning their journey, while Vladislav had already become a professional and a defender.
Vladislav was born on June 16, 2002, in the village of Perchunove in the Kirovohrad region. His path was short but bright, filled with genuine dedication to his work.
Vladislav consciously chose the railway, obtaining the profession of a locksmith and assistant locomotive driver at the Higher Vocational Mining and Construction School.
In 2021, he joined the Pomichna locomotive depot.
He is remembered as an extraordinarily diligent worker. Despite his young age, he was not afraid of responsibility and constantly sought to learn from his older colleagues.
Instructor locomotive driver Volodymyr Denieshkin notes that Vladislav did everything to be worthy of the high title of railway worker and earned sincere respect within the team.
Vladislav was a true patriot. His military journey began even before the full-scale invasion.
On October 27, 2021, he was called up for service. He served in the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3029, Zaporizhzhia).
He progressed from a recruit to a senior soldier. Since April 2023, he became a direct participant in combat operations, risking his life daily for the freedom of Ukraine.
Vladislav was meant to be the future of the Ukrainian railway, but he became its eternal guardian in the heavenly watch. His death is a painful loss for his family, friends, and the entire Pomichna depot.
We express our deepest condolences to Vladislav's parents and brother. It is impossible to find words to ease the pain of parents who have lost such a son.
The team of the "Pomichna Locomotive Depot" production unit of the "Locomotive Company" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in deep sorrow. Vladislav Pysmennyi will forever remain in our memory as an example of responsibility, courage, and a pure soul.
Eternal memory and honor to the Hero!
