Volodymyr KUCHERENKO
Volodymyr Kucherenko was born and lived in the town of Tsvitkove, Cherkasy region. He studied at the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, and later at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, majoring in "Construction and Civil Engineering."
He worked on the railway at the Tsvitkove Track Machine Station, a structural unit of the "Center for Track Construction and Repair," as a foreman (dismissed) of railway transport enterprises of the 6th category.
Volodymyr joined the service on May 23, 2024. He served as an operator of the assault group in the assault company of the unit.
25-year-old soldier Volodymyr Kucherenko was killed on October 16, 2024, in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation near the settlement of Kremyane.
Since childhood, Volodymyr was always active in all school activities and intolerant of injustice. He cared deeply about the fate of his native country and was brave and patriotic. At work, he was known as a determined and communicative person. He was principled, kind, and initiative-driven, earning respect among friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. Colleagues noted that his sincere and kind smile will always shine in their memories.
Volodymyr is survived by his parents and a younger brother. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
