Yehor DYMNICH

Yehor was born in the city of Nikopol. He graduated from the Dnipro State Academy of Construction and Architecture. He began his career in the railway sector in May 2020 as a work performer at the Nikopol Repair and Operation Section of the production structural unit "Dnipro Directorate" of the "Center for Construction and Installation Works and Operation of Buildings and Structures" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He later worked as the head of the maintenance and current repair section at Nikopol station within the same production structural unit. In April 2023, he transferred to the regional branch "Dnipro Railway," where he held the position of head of the maintenance, repair, and servicing section of buildings and structures at Nikopol station in the Kryvyi Rih region of the production unit "Service for the Operation of Buildings and Structures."

He was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in July 2023. In December of the same year, during intense fighting, he was wounded and received treatment. He died defending his homeland on February 13, 2026, near the village of Odaryivka in the Komyshuvakha district of the Zaporizhzhia region.

A colleague of the fallen railway soldier, Oleksiy Zdeshchits, shared that Yehor Oleksiyovych was very responsible in his work, a wonderful leader who easily connected with people:
“As the head of the section, he was involved in organizing work and providing material support for the unit; he readily took on challenging tasks and knew how to motivate the team to accomplish them. Upon receiving a call-up, he did not hide or try to avoid mobilization – he went to serve. However, he maintained contact with the team: he was interested in their affairs, visited when on leave, and offered advice. He was a very kind, empathetic, and positive person, as well as a good family man: a husband and father.”

Yehor Dymnych loved his family very much and tried to spend every free moment with his loved ones, paying a lot of attention to his son.
