Bohdan ILYIN

Bogdan Ilyin was born in the village of Zaluzhzhya in the Rivne region. He graduated from the Zdolbuniv Professional Railway Transport College. Before the war, he lived in the Poltava region in the Myrhorod district. He worked for almost four years as a third-class track installer at the Myrhorod station in the Grebinka railway distance of the regional branch "Southern Railway" of Ukrzaliznytsia.

On March 8, 2022, Bogdan was mobilized.

Senior soldier Bogdan Ilyin was killed on July 3, 2024, in the vicinity of the village of Vysoke in the Sumy region. The life of the 30-year-old warrior was cut short by an anti-tank mine.

Acquaintances say that Bogdan loved his homeland very much, so with the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he did not hesitate to take up arms in its defense. He was calm, balanced, always ready to help others, and loved life. Colleagues describe Bogdan as a responsible, disciplined, and proactive worker who was respected in the team and knew his job well.

Comrades write about the warrior: "A true warrior. A devoted comrade. A loyal friend. A loving father and husband. A son to be proud of."

Bogdan is survived by his wife and young son.
